The Williamson County Symphony Orchestra is a professional-level orchestra that has been providing entertainment to the people of Williamson County for 15 years. It was founded by a group of 20 musicians who wanted to “put together a small orchestra” and has since grown to include over 50 members. Each season, the orchestra puts on nine free concerts for the public, and this month they are kicking off their 15th season with two free concerts called “Great Orchestral Movie Themes”. Being part of the orchestra is an inspiring experience for musicians, as it allows them to play in a professional-level orchestra without having to leave their day jobs.
This is according to founding member and trumpet player, Gordon. The orchestra also offers master classes for those interested in learning more about music and honing their skills. These classes are taught by members of the orchestra and provide an opportunity to learn from experienced professionals. If you're looking for an exciting way to experience music, attending a concert or taking a master class with the Williamson County Symphony Orchestra is a great option. With nine free concerts each season and master classes taught by experienced professionals, you're sure to have an unforgettable experience.
